Letter From The Editor-In-Chief

Two things of particular importance to note:
- Coal Services VR Training Day has been extended to AFOEM Fellows. So get in quick as there are limited spots.
- RACP AGM on Friday 21, May 2010. Refer to the calendar below for further details.
There goes my plan of perfecting my psuedo British accent.
*sobs*
Enjoy your weekends! I shall me studying ...

Climate change: What competencies and which medical education and training approaches?
"Much research has been devoted to identifying healthcare needs in a climate-changing world. However, while there are now global and national policy statements about the importance of health workforce developmentfor climate change, little has been published about what competencies might be demanded of practitioners in a climate-changing world. In such a context, this debate and discussion paper aims to explore the nature of key competenciesand related opportunities for teaching climate change in medical education and training."
