Renewals were sent to all members at the beginning of August. We encourage you to renew as early as possible to ensure you receive your 2008-09 benefits prior to Spring Carnival 2008.
For those who have already sent in their renewal payment thank you. We have been inundated with forms and we're working on completing our processing as soon as possible. You should have your 2008/09 benefits within 10 working days.
Warwick Farm - 23 August
This weekend racing returns to Warwick Farm, and there are some changes to the parking at Warwick Farm due to the refurbishments that have taken place. See below for more details.
GATES OPEN: 11.00am FIRST RACE: 12.10pm
LAST RACE: 5.10pm
Members are advised your 2007/08 membership card will allow you access into the Members' Area this weekend.
PARKING
Members’ parking is available at Warwick Farm off Governor Macquarie Drive entrance (via Hume Highway).
Look for the sign “St Leger Car Park 70m on left” as you are heading east on Governor Macquarie Drive. Please note there is NO RIGHT TURN across Governor Macquarie Drive to this entrance. Please ensure you turn onto Governor Macquarie Drive from the Hume Highway to access the Members Parking area.
Please follow the instructions of the signs and attendants on the day.
COACH
A free coach service to Warwick Farm is available for members (and their guests) from Royal Randwick on 23 August. Bookings are essential and close Friday 22 August 5.00pm (unless fully booked). If you wish to travel by coach please phone 9663 8419 to make your booking.
TOUR OF THE FACILITIES
Warwick Farm has undergone a significant redevelopment and with racing resuming this weekend, what better time to take a tour of the facilities.
Tour will commence at 10.30am (meet at 10.25am) from the General Office and should take approximately 50-60 minutes.
Members and their guests wishing to go on the tour must wear closed shoes.

Racing Returns to Royal Randwick
The WYD clean up is almost complete and everything is on track for 6 September return to racing at Royal Randwick. Look out for the next edition of The Carnival Magazine due out in early September for information on the upcoming Spring Carnival including a member only ticket offer.
2008/09 Fixture Cards
At the time of writing fixture cards were still to be printed as the racing program has yet to be ratified by Racing NSW. Fixture cards (when printed) will be available for collection from the General Office.
Cox Plate
The Moonee Valley Racing Club has advised of procedures for securing reciprocal privileges for 2008 Cox Plate.
AJC Members and guests will be required to pay the admission fee for the day and Members receive complimentary members entry and may purchase one (1) additional members guest pass.
Download a ticket application form. The MVRC advise that applications for Members Passes must be accompanied with a copy of your AJC membership and license (or valid form of photo identification).
Melbourne Cup
AJC members wishing to attend the Melbourne Cup carnival in Melbourne are advised that Ticket Application Forms were sent to all members in your renewal pack. The VRC only accepts forms in the original so please use the green form you have been provided. Applications by mail close Friday 10 October.
