On Wednesday 3 December 2008, the NSW Government enacted amendments to the Racing Administration Act 1998 and Racing Administration Regulation 2005.

It is now unlawful for a licensed wagering operator to publish any gambling advertising that offers any credit, voucher or reward as an inducement to participate or participate frequently in any gambling activity (including an inducement to open a betting account).

Both the Free $20 Bet and Free $20 Quaddie promotions are therefore now prohibited by way of the amendments, and accordingly both promotions scheduled at Royal Randwick this Friday 12 December have been cancelled.

However, we are still offering to all TAB account holders that upon presentation of their TAB card they can purchase one general entry and receive one free.
