AIME 2007 -Come and say Hi!

The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo for 2007 is being held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre 13 and 14 February.  Wollongong Conference and Events will be exhibiting with Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau. Attracting thousands of buyers both nationally and internationally, Wollongong will have the opportunity to showcase the exciting venues, facilities and attractions available which make the city the perfect place for businesses and associations to conference.

A record gathering for the 2006 Intergral Energy Business Awards

The Integral Energy Illawarra Business Awards gala dinner was held on Friday 17 November 2006 at the WIN Entertainment Centre.

A record gathering of close to 1000 of the region’s business people from across the Illawarra gathered to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the region’s business community.

Hosted by Illawarra Mercury Business Editor Greg Ellis and Nine Network Personality Sharyn Ghidella, the evening featured some colourful and lively entertainment and addresses by special guests The Hon. Morris Iemma MP, NSW Premier, and Peter Debnam MP, Leader of the Opposition.

Wollongong Welcomes the 2007 MISG Conference

The Mathematics and Statistics in Industry Study Group Conference (MISG2007) will be held at the University of Wollongong, 5-9th February 2007, with A/Prof. Tim Marchant as director and Dr. Maureen Edwards as A/Director.

MISG2007 is an industry clinic where around 150 mathematical and statistical experts tackle selected industrial projects, over the course of the week. Companies participating include Bluescope Steel, Integral Energy, Trading Technology Australia and Transpower NZ.

Salsa at Northbeach!

Novotel Northbeach will again host Ozdance, an event that is organised for Ballroom Dancers of all levels from all over the World and Australia.  The event will run from 1-6 February 2007.

A number of classes and events will be held during the week from the main ball to ‘SALSA AT THE SURF’.  There will be 2 Salsa Sessions on the 3rd February 2007 at 11.30am and 2.30pm.  This event is open to everyone!  For further information visit  www.ozdancecamp.com  

Rydges Rocks Wollongong

Rydges Wollongong has had a fantastic line up of Solo acts at their CBD Sports Bar including Darryl Braithwaite, James Reyne, Ian Moss and most recently Mark Seymour.

In 2007, Rydges will rock Wollongong with the legendary Billy Thorpe and rumour has it that Richard Clapton will be making an appearance.
