As you are aware there have been changes to the race dates for the rest of this season.  Click here to see all race dates until end of June.

The Wyong meeting on Wed 5 March is an AJC transferred meeting and the Wyong Race Club are kindly offering AJC members reciprocity on that date.  Just make sure you take your AJC card with you.  There will be plenty of dining available on the day.  If you wish to book call Nikki on 43521083.

Watch for your Members HQ Magazine coming to you early March with all the updated information regarding the 2008 Tooheys New Royal Randwick Carnival.  Including dates and  for the Members Cocktail Party and Early Morning Trackwork and Breakfast.

Birthday vouchers can be used at all of the above meetings.

Birthday Dining bookings must be made with Julie Harris on 9663 8517.  Bookings for complimentary birthday lunches are currently full on 1st March. Easter Sat 22 March is not available for Complimentary birthday lunches. Saturday 29 March has limited seats available for birthday lunch bookings.   April meetings are Carnival and not available for complimentary lunches.  May 24 is now fully booked for birthday lunches.

Australia Day Honours

AJC Member Mr Peter Kerr, was honoured with a medal in the General Division for his service to water polo as a player, referee, coach and administrator in the Australia Day Honours List this year.  On behalf of the Chairman and Committee we congratulate him on this special achievement.

Senior Members Lunch

The annual luncheon for members who have held continuous membership of the AJC for 50 years or more, was held on Australia Day.  There were three "new" boys who have joined this group and we welcome them to this category of membership.

It is such a pleasure to see these members renew old acquaintances and enjoy a day at the races with their familites and we hope to see them all again for many years to come.

Scone Cup Trip - 22/23 May 2008

Join us for this increasingly popular trip to the Hunter, taking in racing and stud visits.

· Luxury coach transport

· Luncheon at Woodlands Stud.

· Overnight at the Pokolbin Village Resort, with dinner (beverages not included), bed and breakfast.

· Arrowfield Stud

· Scone Races – course entry, race book and luncheon, (beverages included) in the Marquee.

Enjoy lunch at the Woodlands Stud Homestead with John and Frances Ingham, followed by a stallion parade and tour of this wonderful property. Our overnight accommodation will be at the 4 Star Pokolbin Village Resort , where we will have dinner at the award winning Vittorios Restaurant.

Friday will see us at Arrowfield Stud to look at their wonderful stallions before heading down the road to the Scone Races where we will enjoy lunch in the Members' marquee.
