We would like to extend a special invitation to you to attend Royal Randwick’s inaugural Pink Stiletto Race Day this Friday, 26 February 2010.

Hosted during the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival, the Pink Stiletto Race Day will fuse the great traditions surrounding the Sport of Kings with the vibrant atmosphere that sets Sydney a buzz during the world’s premier gay and lesbian cultural festival.

The aim of this special race day is to raise funds for the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, Australia's oldest HIV charitable organisation whose mission is to provide direct financial and practical assistance, financial counselling, housing and employment support to people directly disadvantaged by HIV in New South Wales.

Derby Bar

The Derby Bar is open for Members and their guests. Members wishing to bring guests with day tickets will have access to the Derby Bar for this race meeting.

Dining at the Pink Stiletto Race Day

Join us for a truly special afternoon of decadent food, outstanding wine, fun and fund raising. Hosted in the Oaks Lawn marquee, the Pink Stiletto Celebrity Chef lunch will be an unforgettable Royal Randwick dining experience - the 3-course menu has kindly been designed by Christine Manfield, world renowned chef, author, gastronomic traveller, food manufacturer, presenter and teacher. Lunch tickets, $195 each, are still available and can be purchased via Preferred Seating.

The Pink Stiletto Race Day will host a very exciting card of 7 races including the inaugural Pink Stiletto Sprint.

Fashion Stakes:

Where there is racing there is fashion and The Pink Stiletto will be no exception, hosting the ever-fabulous Fashions of The Field : Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female and Best Costume.

Drag Stakes:

In the lead up to Mardi Gras, a race day wouldn’t be complete without the opportunity for the swiftest Drag Queens to burst from the barriers and sprint down the main straight for the title of The Pink Stiletto Queen.
