University of Wollongong - Accommodation Services

The University of Wollongong is only a 90 minutes drive south of Sydney, and located between the stunning Illawarra escarpment and the sea. All residences are a short distance to beaches, the city, shopping and the university campus.

The University features state of the art sporting facilities at URAC, including an aquatic centre, an air-conditioned health club, and sporting fields.
 

Accommodation ranges from single bedrooms in units of 2 – 5 bedrooms to motel and backpacker style accommodation with catering and self catering options.

WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres

The WIN Sports & Entertainment Centres (WSEC) is the largest sporting complex in the city. The venues comprise of WIN Stadium, which is a 20,000 capacity sporting ground, and WIN Entertainment Centre (WEC) which is a 6,000 capacity auditorium.

WIN Stadium is the home ground of the NRL St George Illawarra Dragons and has been host to the NSL, Rugby World Cup games, Crusty Demons, Motocross and Supercross.

The WEC is predominantly used as a concert and event venue but has a sports floor that can be used for basketball, netball and other indoor sports.
