ANZAC Day at Royal Randwick, 25 April 2009

Next year’s Schweppes Sydney Cup falls on ANZAC Day and the AJC is preparing a special day of activities to honour the ANZAC’s and commemorate the AJC’s contribution to the war effort.

As part of these activities, we are seeking any memorabilia relating to Randwick during World War I and World War II. Photographs will be particularly valued but we would also like to hear from any members who can share memories, accounts or interesting stories about how Royal Randwick was used during the war, both as a racetrack and as a part of the war effort.
