Come and commemorate the achievements of the fairytale champion and farewell Takeover Target with the send off a true great champion deserves.

Takeover Target will parade at 3.20pm between Race 5, named the Not Your Average Joe Handicap and Race 6 Professor Chris O'Brien AO Sprint

Owner-trainer Joe Janiak and jockey Jay Ford will receive a special presentation from the AJC Chairman Ron Finemore

Free giveaways will include Takeover Target donuts, tattoos and badges (be sure to show up early!)

Limited edition Takeover Target merchandise will be available: posters, caps and T-shirts showing the gelding's race record will be on sale

Joe Janiak will be available for signing copies of the Takeover Target book (by Lyndall Crisp) from the General Office under the breezeway at 12.30pm until 1.30pm

Patrons can have their photographs taken riding Takeover Target through the magic of digital photography in the Paddock Grandstand from 12pm until 4pm

Kids can also join in the fun with a jumping castle and face painting on the Rose Garden Lawn from 12pm until 4pm
