Members' Christmas Cocktails |
 |
About 400 members and their guests attended our Christmas Drinks in the Derby Bar on Saturday 22 December. It was great to see so many members in the festive spirit, enjoying prawns, oysters and other delicious delicacies.
The food was wonderful, as was the egg nog, and the atmosphere in the Derby Bar was really great.

Ladies. Now that we are finally getting some summer weather please remember that whilst they look nice, shorts of any description, dress or otherwise, ARE NOT permitted in the Members' area. Nor is denim.
Gentlemen - Coats are off during the period of daylight saving, unless you are attending an official function.
Again, whilst the fashion is for some shirts to be worn out, if you are accessing the Members' area, you must wear smart trousers, a collared shirt (tucked in), tie and dress shoes. No jeans or denim.
Please advise any guests you may be bringing of the above.

Members' Tour to Hong Kong |
 |
Our Members tour to Hong Kong in December saw a return of a number of our members for the International Races and we also welcomed some new members.
Everyone had a great time, shopping, sightseeing, and of course visiting those wonderful courses Happy Valley and Sha Tin.
It is our hope that this tour will develop with more and more AJC members attending.
Note for your diaries - December 2008 - AJC Members' Hong Kong tour.
