You are receiving this email because your profile from MySummers.com has been sent to the Summer Institute for the Gifted.
I have received a copy of your profile through MySummers.com and thought you might be interested in learning about summer employment opportunities with the Summer Institute for the Gifted in 2008.
The Summer Institute for the Gifted, more commonly referred to as SIG, is one of the premiere summer programs for gifted youth in the United States. SIG is an academic summer camp with residential programs located at Amherst and Bryn Mawr Colleges, Emory and Princeton Universities, University of Michigan, University of Texas at Austin, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Vassar College. Each session runs for three weeks with the option available to work one or two sessions.
Upon reviewing your MySummer profile, it appears that you would be best qualified to apply for our Counselor position. Counselor positions with SIG can be very rewarding. They offer the opportunity to work very closely with an extraordinary group of young people, children from all over the country and the world who have been identified as academically gifted. You will also be working alongside and developing friendships with a group of peers from colleges throughout the U.S. While the work is very demanding, the opportunities for personal growth are great.
If SIG sounds like a camp you would be interested in working for, a comprehensive description of the program can be found on our website at www.giftedstudy.com.
The Counselor application can be found at www.giftedstudy.com/employment. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
